VANCOUVER — Vancouver Island rugby fans have a boat ride to make on Saturday morning.
That’s because three of the best schoolboy sides in B.C., all private schools and all of which call the Island home, will take to the field at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium in the provincial Triple A and Double A finals.
In fact the Triple A final (3 p.m.) will be an all-Island derby as the No. 1-seeded Shawnigan Lake Stags take on southern rival and No. 3-seeded St. Michaels University School Blue Jags of Victoria.
