I heard a rumour that Ontario are about to announce their coaches for next year's Blues. John Tait assisted by Morgan Williams.

Harry old chap, what a yarn you spin. You have missed a couple of extras. Also heard in the rumor mill is that ST and JM will assist in some coaching capacity. TG will be the S&C coach. The real surprise is that MG will fly back from Ireland as he has been hired as the new director or rugby for Ontario.

I'm assuming ST is Shane Thompson and JM is Johnny Mac. Four coaches for at eam that has a three or four game league is overkill, I think. As far as the burger clown, no way. I applied for these positions but never heard back from anyone. We don't need strength and conditioning because we are already strong. If this doesn't pan out remember I said I heard a rumour. We shall see.

Harry old chap do not apologize so quickly. We know you were at steamers and you overheard GB and DT discuss where they were going to place the rehired restructured JT. After a few jars, coaching the Blues was the brain child solution. MW should be the coach or why not fly LG back and forth to do the job.

MW wouldn't want to be involved with anything that has to do with RC, I heard from him that he is ashamed to ever be involved with the National Team, and would never deal with them coaching or playing!!!! It's great that we treat our players the way we do and now they feel like this!!!!

Treetop it's not always about Morgan williams. I am talking about a true blue Ontario coach and the best the province has on offer ---- MARK WINOKUR ----

He lives in Ontario, it is a no brainer. He just travelled to Argentina with the National Team.

"His coaching credits include the O.R.U. Development Side as an assistant coach in 1991; guiding the Colts to the TRU Finals in 1994, winning the Ontario championship in 1995 and reaching the ORU finals in 1996.He was involved with the C.C.S.D. in 1995 as a coaching intern, and he was on the coaching staff of the Toronto Renegades and Head Coach of the Ontario Under 21 squad in 2000.
Mark coached the Toronto Renegades Development side (Vipers) in 2002 and in 2003, he was named coach of the Toronto Xtreme, the Toronto based entry in the Rugby Canada Super League, and led them to the National Final. Also, he was named co- coach for the RCSL All Star teams which played the New Zealand Maori in Ottawa in 2003, and England Counties in Edmonton in 2004.In 2005, Mark was the head coach of the 2005 Maccabiah Games Canadian Squad which competed in Israel in June, and was named as a selector for Canadian Men's Senior Team.Mark was also named Coach of the Year in 2005 by Rugby Ontario.
Mark has travelled to England (Broughton Park) and to Victoria, BC, as a guest of the Pacific Pride and other top BC Premier League sides to enhance his coaching knowledge."

And he's already done the job. Perhaps he'd rather do something else?

Mark is the manager in charge of hiring the coach. He is involved. I don't think he was the coach, he was always the manager.

Rob Doyle is the new coach, with an announcement available at botht the Rugby Canada and Rugby Ontario websites. I have never heard of him before but he has coaching experience in England and has been helping with Ontario age grade teams. He is listed as being affiliated with Balmy Beach and it says he has been in the country for a year.
