Fact that the Aussie Barbs haven't played much footy together is the only thing standing in the way of an Aussie win. Canada has a very slight chance of winning.

Wonder if game will be online somewhere. Would like to watch it.

    Cheers.

Lads, that Australia side would be a top 4-5 team in the world. It is unrealistic to believe we can compete with that side. Reds, Waratahs, Western Force and Rebels make up the entire squad. I believe a "victory" for Canada is to keep it within 30. I hope I am wrong but I predict that Barbarians side to win by 40-50.

This game is what the team needs. It's either a huge wake-up call (most likely) or they know how hard they are going to have to play to come away with a win or two.

What the team needs is Dan Carter, Bakkies Botha and Victor Matfield, Jimmy Cowan, Jaque Fourie and Bryan Habana. Digby Ioane wouldn't hurt.

Oh God, if they keep this under an 80 point margin I think they could claim some sort of moral victory. That entire team is made up of fully capped wallabies. The only hope our boys have is that these guys don't take them serious and we get a little jump on them or they are disinterested because it is not a "real test" for them. The latter is unlikely as many of them are still looking for spots on the wallaby lineup

I just received confirmation that fox.com.au will be live streaming the game. Unfortunately, they only broadcast it in OZ so unless you can come up with an Aussie IP no luck. since it is being webstreamed it is possible it might be up on justin.tv or maybe Rc could get fox to allow a ustream feed for us back home.

If you guys are familiar with torrents. The absolute best site on the web has to http://www.acrossthetasman.com - you need to register to view the forums/releases.

I can't confirm whether they will get a cap of the game but they have gotten every single RWC warm up match thus far. Unfortunately they releases are usually a half day behind or more so you either have to avoid spoilers or watch it knowing the outcome.

Canada's defense has improved since Clive has jumped on board. This will be their saving grace. The wide expansive game strutted by Crowley will be woefully exposed in this little run out for the lads. If Barnes is taking the lead on the scrums they just might survive, if it is the English fellow then they will be skating backwards faster then the Calgary Flames chasing a playoff position. No comment needed about the 7's coach who once again has found a way to tag along for a free ride.

    Baabaa's by a dozen ......

I agree Frank, that one dozen tries is a large but reasonably expected margin of victory for the Australians.

A certain someone wearing #12 is about to get undressed faster then a Barbie at a 6 year olds birthday party.

This is Canada's best side and it will be a close affair. Do not under estimate the fear of being embarrassed, it usually brings out the best in a person and a team.

Interesting that the U.S. barely lost to Japan over the weekend. Thoughts?

It wasn't either sides best side. So I don't know how much to read into the whole thing but I know for the US they had their first choice tight head, shawn pittman, out for a rest as well as their captain and best player Todd Clever out for rest as well.

Pittman used to play for Bayside if I'm not mistaken. intersting to see where his career has taken him. Even though it was not either teams top side, it is nevertheless encouraging given the way we've been manhandled by Japan the last couple of times.

I am not surprised that Japan-USA was close. If Japan didn't have their imports they would have lost.

Despite what many here have been saying, the Pacific region teams are basically the same as they were in previous world cups.

Japan had made 12 changes from the side that narrowly lost to Italy the week before, so I don't think it was their strongest side ... should be some close matches between Canada, Japan and Tonga, in pool A at the rugby world cup though

Interesting changes, I don't really rate Turner as a full back - the times he's played there for NSW, he's been pretty ordinary IMO.

Tapuai played pretty well for the Reds this year, and runs a bit straighter than Giteau, so he probably takes the line on more

Way to go, Shaggy! With that statement, Turner's probably going to score a hat trick!

The stream is still region blocked. Wondering if RC media people are borderline retarded or if it will be open to all viewers come gametime...

Edit: Nevermind it appears I should of read the entire release. But Doug Crosse is probably still a little bit slow.
