They are trying to revive the Gold Program. Do not what happened, but there was a big war between Rugby Canada vs ERU.I would rotate the games so it is not held in one city and most of all, not have it on a work day.
Don't see the need to have 2 teas in the prairie region. Why dilute the product? Maybe the answer is to have a home game in Calgary, 1 in Edmonton, 1 in SK?
I understand also your reluctance to having games during the week. I think this is really down to travel costs. Ontario for example could have a return flight to BC with a stop off in Calgary. Rather than having to pay for 2 separate flights. It's just economics.

How dare you bring logic into the debate! So you don't have the best players playing, because of work commitments.
I think there was 3 Sask players and 3 Edmonton players in the game. Calgary is not that good. Plus how many players were not able travel with the Rock?So the Edmonton and Sask players have to always travel for home games, but Calgary does not.

I don't know; maybe the saturday game in Calgary and the Tuesday in Edmonton then another weekend in SK. For me, if its a regional team it would be better if they could host the home games throughout the 'region'.
Sure, a tuesday night game is far from ideal. But you can't ignore the economic factors of saving $ on reduced number of flights.
