    Good to see a Canadian ref in charge of the Nations Cup match between Romania and Uruguay. Name the only Canadian to referee a men`s World Cup finals game and the teams involved.

    I think it was 145 to 17. I know it wasn`t a shut out. Also the penalty count was something like 17 to 1 in Japan`s favour. I know he only penalised the Japanese once, and the Kiwis were in the teens. Later on Ian Hyde-Lay ran touch in the 99 World Cup and became the only man to attend both as a player and official at a World Cup finals. we seem to be good at getting obscure records.

    I believe Erica is his sister-in-law, married to Dave`s brother Ian who plays for the Caps.

    I know I`m pretty simple, but all I was suggesting was that Abby guys only attract relatives, be they male or female.
