The University of Western Ontario Mustangs play the McMaster University Marauders for the OUA Championship this Sunday at Fletcher's Fields. Kick-off is at 2 pm.

In the past ten championship final games either Western or McMaster has appeared in all but one. In that ten-year period McMaster has won five championships to Western's two. They played each other five years in a row, from 2002 to 2006, with McMaster winning four of those titles.

Another interesting fact about this Sunday's matches is that both the Championship final and the Bronze medal game are repeats of the first OUA Championship to be played on neutral ground at Fletcher's Fields in 2005.

That year McMaster beat Western 15 to 13 for the title and Brock beat Queen's 23 to 13 for bronze.

If this year's form so far is anything to go by then there could be a complete reversal of fortunes from 2005.

Mac beat Western 20-17. I wasn't there so I can only give you the score.

A nail-biter right up to the final whistle.

Western rallied from 20-7 down early in the second half, and Aaron Kennedy crossed the try line in the closing minutes for what could have been the winning score but the ball was held up by McMaster.

Nice to see the boys from BC scoring all the Western points, I wonder how many from BC were playing for both teams on the day.

Good to see the usual provincial attitude from the BC crowd newbie.

It's worth noting that all of the points from the winning team were scored by the boys from Ontario, which has been somewhat of a trend this year.

Western player Tom Bridger from Victoria, BC did miss seven kicking points however, so that's probably worth something.
