I'm not quite sure how this new restructuring has worked? We are currently ranked 15th, we are not trianing, or doing anything to get better, and the coach (their is only one now) is nowhere to be found. Is there a plan of attack? or is he just going to try and wing it? cause from the average joe here in Canada that's exactly what it seems like he's doing. I can't believe that the players are standing for it, I'd be ashamed to say I'm on the national team. RS came out in support of the restructuring, is that because there is no accountability? RS is in calgary how much trianing is he doing? very little I would think. We are going to be the laughing stock of the 2011 WC, and MR. Crowley you are going to be laughed out of your own country. It's a good thing the RC board members are too spinless to get rid of you!! No More Excuses, what a joke!!!!

Well, at least we have a group of carded players in Wales beating up on an U20s regional side. This is certainly the level to be playing to prepare them for the RWC.

Regional sides B teams...And I would bet that not even 1/4 of that welsh group makes the world cup team.

Putting on my tin foil hat, one would think the only reason the IRB gives money to RC is to ensure a supply of cheap middling rugby players to fill in for pro sides in the home unions during the test window when all the good rugby players are unavailable.

It is crazy talk, but sure does explain the lack of anything resembling an improving national team program or improvement of rugby in Canada.

Down to one guy at Glasgow, now that T-bone is retiring and one at the Dragons, even if he didn't play any first team league or cup games this year. If you include France there is JC at Clermont and then is there a bright light at the Northampton academy. If the academy does it's job properly I wouldn't be suprised to see Taylor Paris, who I last saw playing in Ajax in the OFSSA Championship, playing in the Aviva Premiership next year.

Harry, as a huge Saints fan, I'm really hoping to see Taylor Paris work his way into the squad. But with their depth at wing, there's no way it's gonna happen unless he changes position.

He may get game time on International weekends when the stars are away. If he gets a few A games to develop I believe he can beat out some top players. I don't know the kid personally but I here he is a great kid and a very hard worker as well as a great team player. I don't know if Northampton have a working relationship with one of the Cahmpionship teams but if he can't get game time in the Premiership maybe they could work him on a lone deal to get him playing time at the next best level. He is one of the best players I have ever seen at his age of all that I have watched live.

    I'm still waiting for Part B of the Ryan Smith chronicles;

"Restructure - It's all good as long as you don't Rock the Admin Boat"

Let's see - Fire Morgan Williams - hire no one but place Geraint John in that position

Let's see - Fire John Tait - hire no one but wait do not replace him with anyone

Let's see - Fire Tyler Goodale - hire Matt Barr but wait an even up exchange

Really Ryan Smith, what has changed? Enlighten us.

How old is Bruce, he won't be around for ever and there are two wings on a team. I don't expect him to be starting regularly next year, but give him a year or two and look out. The kid is only 18.

I'm with you Harry, I just think it's gonna be a few years before we see him crack their lineup. With Chris Ashton and Paul Diggin usually starting, plus a couple new signings coming in next year, next year might be a little too soon... like you said, he's only 18.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but without a british passport Taylor will be very hard presed to play for the Premier side. With it now only being "1" most teams will have a pretty good foreign player fill that hole.

It must the "master RC re-structure plan" for the UK. Paris will be moved to another organization within the year.

TP was sent to Geraint Johns old club. Was GJ fired from
that job or did he just leave. Send TP to England cause
they have good coaches over there. Was he too young for
    the North Wales Project?

The most sensible restructure would be to move the Richmond Hill office to Victoria. Think about how much money you would save on flights.

RC are not raising the essential funds in Richmond Hill and this way NT and MRJ could work in unison instead of trying to trick us into believing that there are two different fund raising schemes.

No Excuses - Pack your bags and move to Victoria
