    Rugby has just been accepted into the Olympic family of Sports.

    The article on the Rugby canada site mentioned that the 7's team has a new coach Morgan Williams. This was the first I had heard about a new 7's coach.

    Antone know about his background?

    No.

    15 a side has way too much history and cache amongst the ruling echelon of the IRB for it to die.

    In this country we will continue to see 15's dominate as most players won't have a chance of playing elite level 7's.

    At a recreational level we may see more 7's tourney's but that's it. 15's has a culture that will never be matched by 7's.

    7's is a sub-brand of rugby. The core identity of the rugby brand is 15's and I don't think that will ever diminish.
