Albert College! Does that mean he was recruited? Kind of rich for a military kid! $44,000 plus for 2011 fees.

While some of these dates may be off by a year or so and some players have left before coming back the bottom line is there were only 3 players new to the club out of the starting 15. Scholz is close with Daypuck a long time CW player. Not sure about club connection to macsween and Gilmour.

While I have no first hand knowledge saying players were not paid the club at least they stayed with a core of guys who are a part of the club network. Once a player is in the family of a club they always remain a part of it. Thats what rugby is all about. CW simply tapped into that resource this year. My guess is the addition of Hyde-lay was the big differnce in bringing guys back
