    Winger don't be such a kiss @ss to Faust or whoever pulled the thread. Both those coaches were with Fyffe from the beginning, they have had a full cycle.

    Faust yellow cards were not the problem. Have a look see and notice how many yellows the Ferns had in the final.

    You have to keep it REAL. Now that RC have done away with the HPD who is going to evaluate the coaching performance? No longer on the board Bang his fist on the table so who will make the decisions needed?

    Hold it, I have the answer, RC is restructuring

    I don't really follow the NSWT but I can see the parallels with the NSMT. The squad leave home full of optimism, the "best we've ever been prepared" and start out quite well for a game and a half, exceed expectations. Then the wheels fall off one at a time. We find out the hard way that just as we have improved the others have improved even more. They can maintain the intensity of playing back to back games and handle the pressure of expectation. Us? We start to attack the credibility of pivotal players and sledge the Coaching staff and administration.

    I have never seen the NSWT play or even train so I will not comment on the coaches or players but the administration is another matter. They have four years between World Cups and passing the hat at a board meeting months out is pathetic. RC has a commercial department (yes not one but at least three full-time 'fundraisers) that doesn't even raise enough cash to cover it's salaries year after year. Now if the women's and other pay to play/rep Canada teams didn't have to spend time trying to offset the costs they could concentrate on winning.

    It seems to me after speaking with players at the RWC the Head Coach changed strategies at the last minute, purposely announced teams at the last moment, so he didnt have to face the players on the bench or not playing.

    Although on the record in saying 'performance' was the criteria for selection, this head coach ignored the (paid independent ie NON RC) professional full time analyst on stats & individual performance evidence, shut out all staff including asst coaches & medical by having no selection or staff meetings, refused to make replacements during matches and was yet again (as per olds) away every evening with family.

    To ignore performance players like Waters, Phillips, Zussman & Stoughton is scandalous, to change strategies at the last minute with your 9 & 10 and then blame the pack when it goes wrong is cowardly, to get drunk and behave in a unrespectfull way & embarrass retiring players, RC and the Women’s program is unforgivable, all this in front of my daughter (and by the way ive left out the really bad bits of this head coaches drunken behaviour), he should take full responsibility and he alone should be the person sacked.

    We respect people to make intelligent constructive criticisms of coaches, Rugby tactics and administration., but not if the postings get personal. It is also a breach of the terms of service to make any reference to individuals drinking.

    Question, I have tried to post a couple of times posts that are several paragraphs in length. Each time when I click the clickcha I loose the post. What is happening? Is it the lenght of the post and if so how short or how much time do I have between begining to construct and send?

We should have seen it coming, it all seemed a bit funny when I was told that at NWL (a week long tournament) billed as the last chance for players to perform by the head coach, he only showed up on the last day for the final, good way to see players perform. So is he incompetent or lazy or both?
    I have also been told that he shut out all staff during the RWC including asst coaches & medical by having no selection or staff meetings, refused to make replacements during matches and was yet again (as per olds) away every evening with family.
    My daughter is a National team player and I of course am personally touched by what this coach has done, but imagine what the players think, they are loyal to the end to the NSWT, without seeing what he has done, they take responsibility on themselves and he pushes it on them, they deserved the opportunity to play in the way they had prepared, by changing strategies and asking the players to play a game alien to them he set them up for failure, by not making timely replacements he burnt out our best performers, by cutting out the staff he takes all responsibility.
