Well, the good was Tonga, the first 60 against France, the first two against the All Blacks. France threw us under the bus, but had we showed up against the Japanese or Munro could kick in that game, the third place and Irb dollars would be flowing, double latte's all around at the RC office.

    so how we rank, imo?

Buydens: 6, solid, wasn't sold on him this time last year

Captain Pat: 6, leader, good scowl. lineout consistently dodgy, didn't help they had a short back-row and converted flankers in the row. taken off early each game, particularly against the Japanese must have hurt

Marshall:4, dumb penalty against Japanese and getting worked by Woodcock hurt a solid campaign

Jebb: 6, opportunistic, would have preferred to see him in the back row

Cuddles:7, I would go to war with him

Kleebs: 7. knocked himself out defending goal line, 3 inches taller and he would be world class

O'toole: 5, has to be considered a disappointment following Man of tourney at churchhill cup, I would put him and Kleebs in a closet and whoever comes out standing, start at 7

Carps: 6, does nothing wrong, but is he a international 8?

Ed: 6, don't think we have any better. infuriating when he pleads to ref for a short arm off scrum put ins.

Munro: 5-6. threw his body about fearlessly but ineffectivly. missed kicks against the Japanese, yet scored late try. can't we put 10 pounds on him?

Smith: 4: 50 caps, wow. you have to admire his commitment to his country, but don't international centers have to meet some basic criteria

Dth: 8, hman of tourney for Canada, hockey hair and bieber heart handshake with PM prove citizenship

Pm: 6, opportunistic try scorer. gets bumped off tackles a bit too easy which dropped score

Evans: 5, seems to have the ingredients, not many opportunites.

Hearn: 4, pretty disappointing tourney following solid lead up

Pitch: 7. has to be one of first guys on gamesheet. little erratic at times, unusual. his injury to the Japanese probably cost us those irb dollars

Conner: 7, woulda shoulda played more. young and athletic

Hamilton: 6, is he the answer. hard to say

bench (sf, th, nd, sw, nh) 5, solid, no real impact

Kieran: 5-6. even keeled. 4th place has to lower score. stuck with same 15-22 whole tourney, looked tired against a very detetmined AB side. Tier two countries seem to play every 4 days, they let us bring 30, why not use them?

Brooke you are a little hard on some of the players. Here's your edit:

Great win against Tonga. Some solid moments against France. The first two minutes against the All Blacks. Tonga threw us under the bus, they teased us by letting us sneak a victory and then shut the door on us by beating France silly. Had we showed up against the Japanese or Munro could kick in that game, the third place and irb dollars would be flowing, double latte's all around at the RC office.

    so how we rank, imo?

    Buydens: 7.5, solid, real solid

Captain Pat: 4.5, lineout consistently dodgy, didn't help they had a short back-row and converted flankers in the backrow. taken off early each game, particularly against the Japanese must have hurt

    Marshall:7.5, solid

Jebb: 5, opportunistic, some would call that lazy

Cuddles:7, we won't see him for another 3 years

Kleebs: 8. knocked himself out defending goal line, should have led with the beard

O'toole: 4, has to be considered a disappointment following Man of tourney at churchhill cup, was his shoulder glued to the side of the scrum?

Carps: 6, best he has played in a long time

Ed: 6.5, don't think we have any better. infuriating when he pleads to ref for a short arm off scrum put ins.

Munro: 5.5. threw his body about fearlessly but ineffectivly. missed kicks against the Japanese, yet scored late try. can't we put 20 pounds on him?

Smith: 3: 50 caps, wow. you have to admire his commitment to his country, but don't international centers have to meet some basic criteria. can't pass with his left hand

Dth: 8, man of tourney for Canada, hockey hair and bieber heart handshake with PM prove citizenship or something else

Pm: 5.5, opportunistic try scorer. gets bumped off tackles a bit too easy which dropped score

Evans: 5, seems to have the ingredients, not many opportunites.

Hearn: 3, pretty disappointing tourney following all the hype out of the rock

Pritch: 7. has to be one of first guys on gamesheet. can kick goals with the best of them. his injury to the Japanese probably cost us those irb dollars

Conner: 7, woulda coulda shoulda played more. young and athletic. poor coaching decision leaving him and paris out of the lineup

Hamilton: 6, is he the answer. hard to say

bench (sf, th, nd, sw, nh) 5, no real impact

Civvies; Should have brought younger players then erickson and walsh but who really knows, maybe they will be around at 39 for the next world cup

Kieran: 4.5. lacked creativity. 4th place has to lower score. stuck with same 15-22 whole tourney, looked tired against a very detetmined AB side. Tier two countries seem to play every 4 days, they let us bring 30, why not use them?
